Positive changes I noticed in myself during this course are some reflexes are still active and possible movements that can help. Parts of the course that helped me learn about different reflexes can affect the performance of an individual and activities that can be done which provide opportunities to try the movement. RMT1 is very powerful, after the movements, I experienced emotional turmoil. In other words, I experience ups and downs at times.
One of the reactions I encountered is the raise of my temper. I got angry and irritated easily after the RMT1 session for a short while. At times the opposite feelings hits too. Sometimes I felt that I am so down that I would dwell in the unpleasant emotion for few days. According to the RMT1 facilitators, these reactions are normal and are signs of breakthrough. However, deep down in my heart, I know that it has the healing effects because I felt the sense of calmness after the ups and down. I think it is a good thing happened to me, because each occurrence of ups and downs actually fades out the wound in me.
Many times, I do not do home play after the session because I felt that I have enough during the session. I usually do the home play activities after few days and I felt fine and happy about it.” ~ anonymous user RMT

I feel enthusiasm. I want to experience all the movement so I can understand more my body’s reaction and movement in every situation. Parts of the course that helped me learn were the proper and exact ways to do the movements for its better outcome and result. And it must be done in a very comfort way. Positive changes I noticed in myself during this course is I feel that I’m aware of my body (posture) while sitting, standing, walking or running, and would “correct” my posture when necessary. Throughout the whole course, before I only knew about Rhythmic Movement Training (RMT1) vaguely, but now I understand the purpose and the effects better. I would tell others how it has benefited me personally, physically and emotionally as that is what RMT1 does, and I plan to practice it every day. And I plan to continue training up to provider’s license as deepen my knowledge, so as to share it with others and giving more exact information. Part of the course (RMT2) that helped me learn was the Tendon Guard Reflex .I learn a lot from this part and it help me more aware my own body and aware that I need do many movement to help my body more healthier. This course meets my expectation and objective which is help my special need children at my centre. But the expectation more than I wish before, use different of types of movement not only can help special needs children even can help myself.
