Cecilia Koester, M.Ed, author and the founder of Movement Based Learning, Inc will be at GlobbyKidz@Gardens on Saturday, 27 Sept, 2014 to conduct a talk on Movement Based Learning and Brain Gym.
Cecilia has traveled the United States, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Mexico and Australia teaching Brain Gym for Special Education Providers to teachers, therapists and parents. She brings her mentoring process offering guidance, education and inspiration on how you can empower the child with suggested activities that they can learn to accomplish independently. Her emphasis is that learning occurs from our ability to create patterns from sensory information and that we can create a more solid neurological foundation for a pleasant and productive life for the child.
Participants will leave this 2-hours presentation with new mentoring skills that can optimize learning, improve daily life skills and therefore enhance performance in all areas of life. And they will find that these tools are immediately applicable in home, school and therapeutic settings.
Cecilia will also be available to sign copies of her book on Movement Based Learning following the presentation and light refreshments.
