Movement Based Learning is based on natural, normal human development. The movements bring about rapid and often dramatic improvements in focus, comprehension, communication, organization and physical movement.

All participants who attended this class went off with a new understanding of supporting the children with special needs with effective tools of building blocks. You will also witness live demo on how she work with invited special needs children with the building blocks.

This 8-hour experiential course provides an in-depth look at some basic developmental movement patterns with emphasis on how to use a movement based-learning program with children of all abilities.

Course Contents: In this workshop, participants will:

  • Discover the technique of using 7 Building Block Activities which support integration of the nervous system.
  • Apply the 7 Building Block Activities for self and children of all abilities.
  • Witness a live demo on how the instructor work with invited special needs children using the building blocks activities and modified Brain Gym® Activities

Therapists, teachers, tutors , elder caregivers and parents as well as anyone in the caring professions will benefit from learning how to assess the needs of an individual, develop a Brain Gym® program to meet those needs, evaluate the effectiveness of the program with ways to modify when necessary for best results.

Movement Based Learning Inc. provides excellent applications for a variety of mental and physical challenges including:
